Footnote New Zealand Dance presents a curated collection of iconic choreography.

Select: Footnote offers audiences a chance to experience excerpts from the company’s latest works, including the critically acclaimed MODERN GOD, Thin Paper, and never before seen solos. 

Presented alongside the DanceNZmade programme, join some of Aotearoa’s freshest dance artists for an evening that will inspire young dancers as to what is possible for their futures in professional contemporary dance.

Join Footnote onstage!

Each school participating in DanceNZmade National Final has the opportunity to nominate one student to join Footnote onstage for Select: Footnote at the Regent on Broadway, Palmerston North.

Students selected will perform alongside the Footnote company dancers for the show’s opening piece, a structured improvisational jam. The chosen student should feel confident freestyling/improvising in any dance style or be willing to try something new!

This is a special opportunity for aspiring young dancers to learn from and perform alongside professional dancers from one of Aotearoa’s top contemporary dance companies.
