Choreographic Residency 2025 - Seidah Tuaoi

Seidah is an Aotearoa-born Samoan and Cook Island creative from Tāmaki Makaurau. Seidah is a member of Projekt Team and Watchmin fam and has been in the street dance scene for the past 15 years. As the creator of 'popping puletasi', practice-led research fusing popping and Siva Samoa, Seidah will use fusion as a tool to explore themes of cultural identity and contextuality. Originally hailing from Pōneke, Seidah looks forward to creating and collaborating with dancers in this residency, on home soil.
